About this site

In Ephesians 2:10, we read that Christians are created in Christ to good works. God saved us for a purpose – and it wasn’t to go back to our normal lives as if nothing has changed. As disciples, we need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who sat in the temple at age 12 and told his parents, “don’t you know that I must be about my Father’s business?”

I’ve been a part-time teacher and preacher of the gospel for more than 10 years, and have been given the grace to proclaim the word of God both in this country and in the Philippines. But I’ve never been good at approaching people. Most preachers tend to be outgoing, gregarious, completely at home talking to people they don’t know as if they’ve known them for years. I’ve never had that ability, and as introvert, I’m fully aware that the odds of me developing that ability at this point in my life are pretty slim.

However, in the age of the blogger, we all have a voice. We all have the chance to reach someone in some way. So my hope is that these writings can in some way help you to have a better understanding of God, to draw closer to Him in some way, or maybe help motivate you to take that step and become a Christian.

  1. Brother or sister, thank you for sharing this with us here. What little writing of yours I have read today reveals you have experiential knowledge of Jesus (which is in the heart, not the head (Matt. 13:16; Is 6:10). Praise God! He has wrought it into you so that God’s people may be prepared for works of service so that the Body of Christ may be built up and brought to unity in the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature (Eph. 4:11-13) in these critical last days… But now, my purpose here is to encourage you to share with us more particulars of your testimony – please share with us the key trials He brought YOU through which rendered you a suitable instrument (which your writings prove you to be)! (If you want an example, I share some of mine here:
    God bless you, dear one!
